Chapter 7
Things get complicated


Karson started at the beginning of today he said.” It all started this morning when she got outside and we started to talk and she looked and started asking about this Daymond guy and acting as if she didn’t know I was her boyfriend.” I said.“ Ok. Take me to where it was she started to act weird.” I felt so weird talking about myself to find stuff out about myself. Stuff I already know. Stuff I know why I did. Things that I said that hurt myself and others. The pain I felt when I jumped. I know it all. But I must find out how things worked out in this life in a different memory where things are twisted.
We got to the corner that I usual walk to and from school with Daymond. Karson started talking again. “We have been friends since she and I were in Middle School. Then I asked her out and she accepted it in High School in the middle of winter. She had a reaction then too she started talking about Daymond. That time she did something stupid too. She walked on a lake and fell in. I saved her then. She had to go to my house and get warmed up she lost her memory of that day so she didn’t know or remember this Daymond person. So I thought nothing of it until now when she started talking about Daymond this morning I started to get scared that something would happen to her or she would try to do something to herself so I followed her when she asked me not to. But when she jumped off the Kiko Port I thought she was mad you look down and you think its only a few feet away then you jump and it’s a 10 ft drop and 200 ft deep so If you did not know how to swim you’d be a dead person.”
I was surprised how different things were here. I knew Daymond ever since we were born. And he never asked me out. That thought made me all red In the face. Then the falling through the ice stood for when I ran in front of the truck. questions were stirring deep inside me but when I finally said it I wonder if he thought I was suspicious. ”Do you know anyone by the name of Setsune?” he looked at me then said. “Yes. I think I do. She is the same grade I am. She is Dating someone named Daymon…..” his words cut off and he swallowed bitter sweet sorrow.
“Daymon.” he whimpered. “His name is Daymon.” he looked at me and said “She must meant that his name was Daymon not Daymond.” His look was a milky brown a tint of spite. He was out for Daymon! And he won’t stop ‘till his pleasures of pain are met.
Oh Dear God!! I better find him before Karson.
