Part Time Guardian
Chapter 2



“NO!” I said “I’ll take a girlfriend instead of having to take a kid in and be a parent.” I looked at my aunt with the harsh look I always use to make the point. “I like doing my job here just as I always have.” I finished. My aunt looked at me and she looked satisfied. Then her mouth open and suddenly I knew that there was a lot in store for me.
“Then do both and a little extra. How about Suki?” I turned blush red. Then my aunt looked at me. “Get a girlfriend by the end of the week or consider Suki. You are the same age after all. And if you take Suki then you become a partial guardian to her instead of the other and as for your jobs here you can carry on doing them like you usually do.” as she finished my mouth dropped open and I went to a blank. I came up with the most genius plan ever. I said aloud.
“But if don’t love Suki or the other girls? What will I do then?” My aunt looked profound with thoughts. “I’m sure you find a way or you could accept defeat and take the little child.” My thoughts stirred with defeat. But she was giving me a whole week so I could find some fan girl or something. But then again I could just find a loop hole. She did after all say that I would find a way and I will. My life itself depends on it.
