In continuing my rambling of manga I've read, it's time to add Chobits to the list!
This was an amazing story of how a humanoid computer and her owner grow closer together. They fall in love. The boundaries of humanity are questioned. Is it okay to love a machine? And can a machine truly love a human? Can a machine find true happiness?
It left in me a desire to have my own "special someone just for me." *sighs* Oh dear, me... that's the way I am I suppose.
Must read? Perhaps so. Read it. Read it read it read it. Hehe... beautiful story by Clamp. I felt real bad that I wanted more. Not because it felt unfinished, but for the great love for the characters I had developed.
Parental disclaimer: (Spoiler) Chi's on switch is located in an inappropriate place, which is later explained to be a point of mild importance during the climax of the manga.
There are several scenes where Chi is shown nude.
There are a number of "Maid' persocoms in revealing maid outfits. Hideki is told they do not "put out".
