I guess updating the Guild code to that of the main forums would be considered a large project, so that's out. Um..well lets see what else needs a fixing around here that I care about. How about making the friends list a lot easier to organize? (still thinks that might be a larger project though.)

Also when you edit the first post in a thread, once you change the post style to something else than Say, you can't change it back to Say later.

Well there's one. Clicking to view comments on this entry returns:

Also viewing the http://www.gaiaonline.com/gsearch/posthistory/username/usernumber urls keeps displaying incorrect dates for "Topic Created" and "Reply Date"

Assuming these are small bugs.

Tacking the "&u=15539598" portion to the first url no longer works like it used to. Hope that helps.

When I click on the "comments" link in journals next to the "add (comment)" link, I get led to an error that says "ERROR: Post (#33248851) not found. Click here to go back to the Journal." Could one of the interns fix that, please?

can they fix glitched item poses? Because in the Noel's Gift the golden fur stole doesn't have a backward image. Or maybe I ought to report that to the one EI NPC...

When you click the "buy now" link on an item in the Marketplace, it will show the item's info above the area where you type your password. In this area, if the item's average price is over 1,000,000 I believe, it will show up as being 0.00g

Well here's one, proper journal redirecting would be nice... For instance..
I clicked the "7 Comments" link to see other comments users have posted and I get this:
"ERROR: Post (#33248851) not found. Click here to go back to the Journal." Then when I click the "here" link, I get sent to my journal...

Edit: Case in point. This was posted above, but I couldn't know that because I was getting an error.

The only thing I could complain about is that on accounts with 250gc or more invested in this month, I am ad free on everything but the obnoxious spatter of Child Of Eden.

Or at least make it so moderators are discernable in this scheme. Their name is painted white like everyone else, but site moderator is left black, and blends in to the background.

Hey carbon, is there any way that they could make the homepage run a little bit lighter? I'm on an older machine, and it always freezes up for a few minutes whenever I visit it, and it's only that one page. I'm not the only one having that problem either. I've tried everything from clearing my cache to clearing up almost all of the memory I use, but it's not working.

Thinking of small projects... Updating/adding nifty features to friends list, pm, comment, wish list, forum... pretty much things that are often contain some sort of listing history. It be nice to get an option where you can organize your friends, wish list, pm, subscribed threads, etc into separate folders. These folders can be named however you like, and has the option to be private/friends-only/public/etc view-able. If not that, I wouldn't mind some sort of auto button, like, organize subscribed threads via forum, date creation, number of posts, etc.

Well I don't know if this is hard or not but I have two issues that I wouldn't mind getting addressed.

Quick Links
The first is quick links. I love them but I hate that i can't add any new links to it. I would love to link to My Comment page for my profile but as of now I still can't add not one link. Is there a chance this can be added back to the footer soon? I mean I love the footer and this would make me very happy.


Friendslist
The second is friendslist and how it's organized. I hate that I have friends on separate pages and I hate the way we have it to organize. I mean we can only move to the top of the list and when you have multiple pages of friends well moving to the top of the list gets very annoying and hard to actually organize the friendslist. I've pretty much have given up on organizing mine because of how tedious it is. Is there a way we can have like a click and drag for the friendslist? And to have all of your friends on one page instead of separate pages? I would even prefer columns instead of multiple pages because it gets annoying and I can't see everyone's status very easily.

I hope these issues can be addressed soon.

Here's a bug I think an intern could figure out:
Visit any guild's home page. Select a topic from the "latest posts" section on the right. Then, attempt to access the topic's (sub)forum using one of the text links located at the top right and bottom left of the thread. You get this error: "You have not supplied a valid Topic ID and Page, or you did not specify a valid Post ID."

Wishlist
I forgot about this until after I hit submit. A way to organize your wishlist would be awesome too. Every time I want to organize my list from most expensive to cheap I have to delete the whole list, make sure I wrote down all the names of the items that were on there, and then readd them to my wishlist. Again tedious work for us to do every time. A simple click and drag and the ability to save would be fine for both this and the friendslist. You could even add that to the main page of the inventory *hinthint*

Well, the Pokemon forum's accented "e" isn't showing up right on a tab, in both IE9 and Google Chrome. It shows up as a capitalized A with a squigilly (sp?) line (don't know the name) and a copyright symbol with a "c" in the middle. The accented "e" still shows up fine on pages.

if you guys could. I think it would be better if we could make an [IF IE] style sheet for profiles, since IE doesn't do much for following standards.

i just used the monthly collectibles museum to figure out which mc was my all-time favorite for the month of june...well, when i clicked on mythrill halo to preview it on my avi, i was directed to the museum's entry for this month's mcs

Is it possible for them to fix the immortality of insects in Towns? No matter how often you catch them, they keep coming back. And if you don't catch them fast enough, they become untouchable while multiplying continuously. It has been like that for over a year at least.

edit: Ah, if this involves flash then nevermind. xD I agree with the above posters that the journal comment error should be fixed. At the moment this is the error I find most irksome.

I think some of the journal links on profiles are broken. I click on one when I go to the profiles and tells me that the entry doesn't exist, yet on one of these profiles they do a direct other link in their "About me" section to the journals and then I can go look at it.

This is one such profile with that happening.

The glitch in guild where you try ot quote somebody, it doesn't quote, it refreshes the page. also I have experienced a glitch where if you click on a subforum's title from within a thread in that subforum it does not go to the forum, it just tells you to log in.

I don't know if this one is small? I'd like it if we could somehow edit our "Quicklinks" in the footer at the bottom of the screen? I've stuff in there that I don't need so much now xd

Here's one: Sometimes, when I try to read the comments on a journal (like I just tried to) and a few times when I've tried to navigate to previous journal entries, I get redirected to the "Welcome to Gaia Journals" page. It seems like it might be leaving off the "&u=15539598" and whatever is supposed to follow it at the end of the url.

[edit]: Ha, yeah, looks like others have been getting this problem as well. Although, I don't get an error message, I just get directed to the wrong page.

This one hasn't worked for years. xd Kidding. I think that feature was removed for a reason.

It isn't a broken link but anyway to make it easier to get our own shop link to give to others? In the MP, if I got my shop its /myshop and it would be nice to be to not have to add the user number at the end.

My only complaints involve thread subscriptions. One is that I can't subscribe to certain threads for some reason. I click subscribe, but it never actually does it. It redirects me to the thread like normal, but it still says I haven't subscribed. One of the threads I had an issue with was actually on my subscribed list a few months back, but it unsubscribed without my knowledge.

The other problem is when I go to my list of subscribed threads. There are several pages of threads, but when I click to go to the second page (just wanting to check in on some of my older subscriptions) it's still the first 150 threads. I can't see any more than that.

Can anything be done about it? I'm using the latest version of FireFox, but the issues started before I had the last version.

When I click on the bottom link in a Guild thread to lead me back to the guild forum I'm in, it tells me to log back in.
I have to scroll to the top of the page and go back to the forum via clicking the "View Forum" button.

I don't know if this doesn't work for other pages, but...

I normally just type in www.gaiaonline.com/forum/subscription to bring up my subscription page. Most of the times though, I'm not logged in anymore, so it'll give me a log-in page instead. This is all fine in dandy, but after I log in I am not redirected back to the subscription page.

It'd be nice to get redirection from logging in on other pages~

the game word bump wasnt working for me the other day, Instead of the letters comming up they were blank so it made it unable to play.

Pass along my thanks for the Journals fix. The problem doesn't seem to be happening anymore for me.

So, it's time for another challenge!: There seems to be a delay of a few hours between when the new manga page is released and when I, at least, receive the story update notice. I'm not sure if this is due to a delay before the notices are sent out or just because it takes a while for everyone to get them, but I figured I would mention it.

1. Arena; After deleting a comment from my arena entry
I got redirected to

Which came up with the error..
"Oops !!!
Looks like you got to an invalid URL somehow. Please go back in your browser and try again."

I checked the actual url and it looks like the "+" in the above url should be a "-".


2. Arena; When i click on one of my favourites on the My Stuff Arena page
It comes up with the error...
"Not Found

The requested URL /arena/gaia/original-avatar/vote/ was not found on this server.
Apache Server at www.gaiaonline.com Port 80"

Now i examined one of the urls again and it seems that one of the "/" has morphed into "%2 F"
However it seems that when i post that url here it autochanges into the "/" so ive higlighted the "/" that messes up in the below url

3. Subscribed threads; It really irks me on the subscribed topics page that it shows "Topics blocked: 2" and there is now no way to unsubscrible from those threads which i presume have been deleted
Could it be possible to have subscribers automatically unsubscribed when a thread is deleted to keep that clean

4. Journal commenting; At this point i previewed this comment and noticed that the handy emote/tools box that usually appear above disappeared, would that be hard to fix too?
And upon checking a second time, so did the captcha box...

5. Wishlist; Wishlist organisation, someone mentioned it above already but id just like to reinforce how welcome that would be

since doing that is about the same as asking them to get you coffee how about something more challenging

upgrade some things to css3 namely border radius and formally drop ie6 (and how about 7 and 8 while you are at it wink ) support 100% and mention firefox portable can be installed to the desktop if you don't have admin rights (eg at work)
add the bbcode editor to the store front editor
loading login page counts as login attempt bug

When I delete the latest entry to my journal, if I clicked the journal tab on MyGaia, it brings me to my journal with a black page.

Oh, hooray, I'm now able to view your journal's comments.

I agree with Viviette Valentine that, after editing my post on any page that's not the last, I would love to be redirected to the page that contains my post. I like to give it a visual scan to make sure that its layout is what I intended and that it is error-free.

I also agree with Tiarana that it would be very convenient to be able to navigate anywhere within a guild after I've finished reading the the thread I selected from the "Latest Posts" list on the guild's home page. The links appear normally, but navigation is not allowed.

Would it be possible for an intern to fix the 8 ) => cool ) in the coding? I try to remember always to insert that extra space for number 8 to avoid this absurdity, but occasionally I forget.

I'm glad Gaia was able to hire some interns, and I'm excited to see what they will be able to fix during their time with the company. whee

I'm thinking this is a glitch, since it occurred so suddenly.

In the arena, when the mouse is hovered over a user's image, I no longer have a dropdown menu to visit any of the links it previously offered central to that user (profile, PM, gallery, etc). I found this very handy if I wanted to see if they had any submissions.

I've been having trouble buying Gaia cash with PayPal - only managed it once since that was updated. I do go to PayPal, but always get this message:

What about fixing the tagging system in the market? There are a lot of tags that don't work at all (bring up no matches even when items have them), which has been a problem since the current marketplace was launched. There's also items that don't have appropriate tags, though I don't know if that's really part of the dev work.

I'd like the Quick Links in the footer to actually do something.
(Perhaps I'm dense and you set up the Quick Links somewhere else. If that is the case, then it should link to that place for easy editing.)

Probably a long shot since it's my own fault, but maybe fix Account Settings so it'll not time out for users with stupidly large (8000+ item) inventories? XD

Follow friends links don't work to Hollywood since that white room store closed.

Just noticed a new one; Achievements page.
You'll notice on this image (and in my account information) that I have completed this task (twice; once for beta).

Its just a small goof-up, but it is a task to put the interns on.

Friendslist

Well since the interns were able to make the wishlist more easily organizable (thank you very much I love it ^_^), can we have the friendslist more easily organizable too? It gets really annoying having the only option to send to the top of the list when you have pages of friends. I only have 5 pages of friends and it's still annoying. It was annoying with 3 pages as well.

It can even be the same system as the wishlist organization is now, but we need something that isn't so annoying to organize and a hassle. I hope the interns can address this because it is much needed.

I'm not sure these count as bugs but it does bother me a bit. :'D I'm not sure if you guys can fix them. It has to do with old data, I guess.

The first has to do with the marketplace. I'm not sure why I can't see these items anymore to remove them from my watchlist. I know that it was more than likely over a year ago when they were added there. <<;; Any chance on getting them flushed out? Or maybe make it when items expire, that it gets removed from the watchlist?

The second problem I have is that, once a user changes their profile to private, I can't unsubscribe from that user. I have the same problem with threads that have been deleted. If there was a way to remove those from my subscription list, that would be great.

There's still the issue with the "Follow" link to friends in Hollywood still not working properly.

Them interns still looking for things to fix? I have a couple more:
In the old days, when you edited a post on the forums, you would be taken directly to that post when you clicked the "Submit" button. Nowadays, the "Submit" button takes you to the last post in that thread instead because the URL for hot-linking posts has changed.

When viewing a user's posts using the new post history page, the date and time in the "Reply Date" and "Topic Created" columns report the date and time of the last post made in the thread the user's post was in, rather than the date and time of the user's post and the date and time the thread was originally created, respectively. The old post history page displays the correct date and time.

Spotted another thing that needs fixing.

Everytime I click on an avatar in my Favourites in Arenas, I get led to a 404 page. Can that be fixed, please?

There's a guild-related issue I figured I would mention: Vice Captains in a guild cannot leave the guild unless demoted. As a result, there's a decent number of threads that pop up where people complain about not being able to leave a guild that has been abandoned by its Captain. Mods can apparently help if you contact them, but it seems like it might be a bit more efficient to change it so that a VC can still quit.

Not really a glitch, but something that seems to cause a decent amount of frustration.
