The Journal of a Miss Chase
Emma
Anyone who looked at Emma would never know that she was one of the most sought after criminals of their time. Her list of crimes ranged from jaywalking to mass murders and while she was not proud of anything she had done, no one but herself would ever understand why she did the things she did. Simply, Emma was not of the world she was currently inhabiting. Many years ago, approximately 300 to be precise, a magnificent ark fell from the sky and crashed into the far north. On board were all of the gods and goddesses of the universe who were trying to escape their homeland though they were not alone. An even greater number of demons had hitched a ride on that ark to the planet and devoured each and every god and goddess there was. Everyone, that is, except Emma. Perhaps it was necessary for Emma to live. She was, in essence, Mother Nature. She was the mother of everything that had come to be created. Her powers had brought both good and evil to the world and the people she had killed and stolen from were the demons in disguise, trying to live on earth and doing subtle or blatant evil deeds.

There was a time where Emma had tried to work side-by-side with law enforcement but they had a system that restricted them from dealing out true justice and Emma could not stand to watch the demons who had taken her family walk free. That was why she had taken it upon herself to do these deeds herself. There was no sympathy for her though, seeing as Emma could not divulge why she was eager for blood, and so she was always on the move. For the last few days she had been camping out in an enormous city. It was easy to blend in with other crooks and good-doers and with the number of demons she was already in revenge heaven wherever she went. Emma was lucky that they were too smug with themselves to look for her kind or she would have been overwhelmed immediately.

Emma sat at a dimly lit bar where she casually sipped at her wine, thinking over her plans. The police were very relaxed in the city, they knew it was impossible to catch all the crime that was out there, but with the bounty on her head at a hefty $50,000,000, everyone could be chasing her down or luring her into a trap. With the smallest of agitated sighs she downed the rest of her wine and rested her forehead on the counter. This job was too big for her. Emma could still hear the cries of her fallen comrades ringing in her ears and holding back the tears she found herself still secreting praying to Lady Luck that there could still be one of her kind left in the world.

((PM me to continue! Any one of these three will be fine with me.))
