So, someone pointed out I was blunt, and not really explaining WHY I hate all organized religion.

It goes back to my childhood, being forced into Catholicism and me finding it rather dull. Inately I knew something wasn't up. It seemed entirely, crazy, that one deity would create one universe, one world, one species to specifically be the end all and be all of that ONE single universe. Not only that, but there is sooo much duplicity within Catholicism. Even at the young age of 8 I saw this. Catholicism derived from Christianity, which derived from Judaism, which derived from Greek lore (jesus - in latin, the language of the time, is pronounced, Hey-zues). All of these organized religions are just new ways that was formed to, for the most part, CONTROL people.

Yes, it had some good points, it brought people together.... on a very thin veil that when people start screaming there be witches and heathens and devil worshippers around everyone is out to draw blood of everyone else. And yes, to a point it gave us writing, but it was only the religious leaders (and rulers of the area at that time, plus some selected few) who could actually write and read. This again points to CONTROL. More so when you realize that you were NOT MEANT TO THINK, OR QUESTION, ANYTHING. That's the prime definition of control. telling someone to literally, "THINK, BELIEVE, BREATHE, EAT AND SAY EVERYTHING I SAY YOU ARE TO DO AND NOTHING ELSE."

To be honest, I am spiritual. I believe there's something out there, but it's unknowable to us, and it wouldn't really bother with us, because it's like us bothering to make sure an ant, or rather, every single ant of every single ant colony, is happy. We don't do that, why would a deity or entity beyond our understanding do so? To praise it is ludicrus, for it's pointless. Religion is a giant scam as well. It says "follow me and my teachings and I promise you a very very happier life up in this lovely place in the heavens." How can they be so sure? Not one person who's died has come back and told us what it's like. To keep saying that, being a preacher with that literally being it's core thing (when broken down) I don't see how they can keep up the charade, but they do. There are a lot of people who due to their belief, feel superior to anyone else, because their belief is THE ONE AND ONLY ANSWER. I hate egotistical BS like that.

I mean, while I am spiritual, i commune with my spirit, I've seen past lives, I still question. I do not know if my understanding is true, is right. Because of that I don't really talk about my beliefs. I don't push it onto other people as I see how insanely hypocritical that is of me saying to others to keep their beliefs to themselves. To keep their beliefs out of politics (and that really, in god we trust and all religious connotations in politics be removed) and to let others do what they wish.

And yes, there are people who are like that. They will say "you're going to hell' if you don't believe in their beliefs (as highschool kids kept telling me). Don't, don't you even dare say that after highschool it's different. The only difference is that instead of it being to my face they say it behind my back, or mutter "my prayers are with you"

And that, that sentence "MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU" is a bunch of BS. It says "Hey i worry about you, but not enough to actually do something to physically and emotionally help you." IT'S A COP OUT of actually doing anything but yet appear as if you care, when in fact, 60% of the time (because, face it, humanity is a selfish creature) the person who says that line is LIEING and could care less.
