Elfen Lied is both frightening yet tragic with a very depressing anime opening yet the lyrics are rather biblical, and Lain's sounds very upbeat but the lyrics are rather tragic and sound like a break up song... Either way, when you learn the meaning behind the songs, their both pretty tragic. ^^; Both are Seinen too and are rather adult. :p I like all of that drama though, because it's pretty deep. XD)

(Note: These songs are represented by various Anti-Villains that you don't wish to fight and/or End of the World scenarios where you can just feel the tension in the air. In the case of Persona, you're even literally fighting various Gods who wish for the best of humanity in really negative ways, such as causing death to the world to end everyone's suffering, while people like the main characters still find meaning in life and wish to fight back against it. As they are so powerful despite being the minority, other than having them face their inner shadows and coming in terms with their flaws, it can also be represented as the gods literally helping them. At least, that was theorized by Izanagi-no-Okami appearing in Persona 4 to fight off against Izanami-no-Okami. So yeah, these ones are definitely meant to sound intense.)
(Note: Sometimes the music just sounds somewhat melancholic at certain parts though and doesn't really give off a tragic feeling, although the anti-villainy might still be there. ^^; Either way, I hope you enjoy my tastes in music. smile )

XD Animal Crossing! ^_^ Such a relaxing game. smile Catching fish, bugs, talking to people, creating your own home, getting all sorts of clothes, celebrating holidays, talking to people, etc... One of the main things that makes it so nice though is how in real life, people have close relationships with their family. smile It's sweet. ^_^ But yeah, it's nice that Nintendo are trying to cover pretty much cover every music genre. I like that. smile )
(Note: I'm not too sure whether or not I should count the K.K. songs though. Their kind of just samples. :p I might also add which songs are already listed on here are of a certain genre if there's something really distinct about them. When she hears about her hometown being in danger though, she gets worried and tries to find her way back home and see her parents again. Sweet, huh? ^_^ This game has a lot of sci-fi and fantasy elements and stuff, with lots of bizarre creatures, as well layers and layers of foreground and background art with animated scenes that make the whole thing for lively and real. It's a pretty great game. smile )

(Note: Tower of Heaven is a really fun but challenging and odd game about a guy trying to challenge a vengeful god that's out to stop him from reaching the top, and there are three secret spots hidden with treasure. I think the god is a buterfly too, I don't remember. :p Maybe it's a sequel to Persona 2 and it's actually Philemon and he's pissed about being decked in the face by Tatsuya. XD LOL. ^^; But yeah, this old school sounding gameboy music is sure to get you pumped up. smile Now if only games like this could last like 20 hours and be an official gameboy game back in the day... I always imagined her mysterious origin is linked to her being the daughter of the murder victim but who knows. ^^; Her personality is pretty generic and sweet here, but in the next game she becomes pretty mischievous and naughty instead. :O If she's just a normal girl, she would still seem to be the type of person who loves creepy places like a fake broken down circus regardless of personality it seems. :p)
