Day 2: To Be or Not To Be/You Can't Fight Destiny
A week before the incedent at Aekea, two freind, Chris Rite and Kevin Ploy, were having a conversation when a strange man approached them. "Mr. Rite and Mr. Ploy," said the stranger, "you two have been chosen by the higher beings to be the next generation of Gaian Gaurdians." Chris and Kevin looked at eachother and started laughing, they walked away completly ignoring the strange man. Suddenly everything stopped except Chris, Kevin, and the strange man. "Hey, what's going on?" said Chris. "You cannot ignore your destiny," said the stranger, "you Chris, Gaurdian of the Winged Temple, have control mighty power of the wind. Kevin, Gaurdian of the Crimson Lake, have the mighty strength of the raging fires. The two of you, along with the gaurdian of Emerald City, Gold Moon, and the Blue Haven, must stop the demon king, Soren, who will arrive in one week." Kevin stepped closer to the stranger and said, "Well what if I don't wanna be this, this, gaurdian thing? I mean I'm only 16, and what about Chris? These 'Greater Beings' would put a 13 year old child's life at stake? I'm sorry but we refuse." The strange man started glowing as ecerything else began to get dark. "You, You can't fight your destiny! You will be a Gaurdian and you Will like it! Now I must go and gather the other Gaurdians, meat me in Barton in one week." said the strange man. He stopped glowing, returned everthing to normal and vaninished. "I refuse to allow them to do this. I refuse to allow them to put Chris in harms way." said Kevin to himself, "How could they put the fate of Gaia in the hands of children? Wait I can ontrol fire? Cool."
