Pish tush! I'm exhausted and glad to be home. stare
I got up at 6:00 am to go to the school at 7:20 for the band trip thingy. Got home aorund 1 (I called Elizabeth on the bus. She kept me busy for 15 minutes while Rachael was beating me up with a water bottle...). I was really tied from that and just layed in bed for like, two hours going in and out of sleep. I got up at 3 to go to borders at 3:30 to sell girl scout cookies until 5. I saw Ian there... and found out they sell plays, whihc amused me. Then I went home. And then at 6:30 I shipped out again to go to my aunt's house to visit my Grandma who's in town. I got a lot of reading done. 3nodding I also came home with $7.50 from playing dice. xd
Yeah. I started Angels & Demons today. It's really good, but very technical and religious. I'm surprised there hasn't been a controversy brought up about it since it's both scientifically and religiously controversial. And we all know how much the public likes controversial things. rolleyes But it's really good and well written. Kind of higher level thinking, as Mrs. Stangler would say, and that it's above freshman reading level because we're not as experienced. Oh well, you don't need to uflly understand a book to enjoy it, though understanding forms a pleasure caught from reading. But let's not become philosophical near midnight. That's dangerous.
Last pep band was yesterday as well. Nothing eventful happened, for once. Normally someone is mad at someone for something they did a week ago or something. Thbere was a little friction, but that was quickly resolved because Rachael got sick and went home. sad But toward the end, I was ignored as everyone went off in to their own little worlds, in which time I let myself become absorbed in the game. Which ended up being good at the end, so it wasn't too big a loss of time, I guess. Plus, if we won, Abby wouldn't be bitchy at all on Monday (which she oculdn't pull off. I'd make sure she broke her promise by meing my usual "self-absorbed, lying, egotistcal, snobby" self.). Unfortunately we didn't win, so she went on a huge (a.k.a. 20 minute) rant about how anger would always win in the end and... stuff. after about the first minute or two I stopped listening, because frankly, I don't care. she was ranting for attention anyway, and I wasn't about to give it to her.
Not to mention on Friday during 8th period I ofund out how much Val actually hates Abby. o_O; It's really baffling, but it's not like her reasons dind't make sense and stuff. Plus Val is just that cool, so.... blaugh When she's not bossing us around during band, that is...
That was an abnormally long post, actually. Lately, anyway. xd My long posts died down, lately. *shrugs* That's good for all of you. 3nodding
