A rant about video games...
Why the hell did Sony have to buy up ALL the good ninja/samurai lisences? They lack overall as a company, screw up making and producing their games and let other companies make half-assed games for their system. There are soooo many games that had amazing potential, only to fall short at the hands of Sony. They really should go back to making audio equipment and like, tvs or whatever else it is they make... Then we could get rid of the thousands of crappy games made for the ps2 and take the salvageable ones, let Nintendo have their licenses, and let Nintendo remake the games. Or, just in case the government decides to complain about the monopoly Nintendo would have (of course when I get rid of ps2 I'll be doing the same to Xbox). So what do we do to quell this problem? We bring back SEGA! Then look at what we'll have, two awesome companies competing with their awesome games. Then we'd have two systems actually worth buying! *shock and amazement* Because Sega is not actually dead like most people think they are. They are just very small, clinging to their computer based games (like Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst) with an almost comic ferocity. Or, perhaps we can actually find some grants and make our own system and games. It wouldn't be all that hard, a bit annoying, but not very hard. We have everything we need just among our group. But oh well, I doubt anyone of us really has the time to build a gaming empire from the ground up, though it would have proven interesting, we have more talent between us then we realise. Ah, I am rambling again, I'll just go to sleep or something now, seeya.
