So I was talking yo my friend Aex when my father calls out the window, "Sunny put the cover on the BBQ". So like a good girl I go to put the cover on. I put the cover on and some metal thing fell down. I look at the metal thing and it is a four prong metal claw, and I have no idea how it relates to the BBQ in any possible way. I leave it there thinking I will pick it up once the cover is on. I get the cover on but the coners are stuck so I go to fix it. Then my brother comes and kicks then he kicks the cover and says there I put the cover on. I go to shoe him away and fix the corner he is near and then I feel something go through the bottom of my shoes. I realized I stepped on the metal claw and 3 of the four prongs have punctured my flipflop. I lift up my foot thinking it will come out but it lifts up with my foot, I have to reach down and pull it out of my ripped flesh. I hobble into the house and ask my sister in the next room to get my mom for me. She says "She's not home she went out". So I yell "Dad can you please come help me I am hurt". He comes down and sees my bleeding all over the tile floor and the first thing he says is "Well hobble over to the tub; don't bleed all over the floor". Only at this point I start to cry. I hobbled over to the kitchen table. He comes and starts to tell my how he was hurt and tells me to stop crying, becuase he has had worse happen. I hold paper towels to my foot to not get blood on the floor as he attempts to clean my wound. Then he starts making fun of me "Wow Sunny your feet stink" What can I say he is my father I don't want to be disrespectful. I can't even talk anyway; tears are streaming from my eyes. My friend Alex is akwardly sitting across the table from me, looking at my foot. So after my dad is done telling us how hard he had it and to suck it up. I know I have an easier life than my dad and I didn't get in a horrible motercycle accident but at least a shred of sympathy would be nice. The metal claw's threes prongs punctured my flipflop but only one drew blood, the others broke the skin but not enough to bleed. The one that punctured the skin went an inch and a half in my foot. I hate that stupid thing. My foot really hurts.
