So updates.... I quit Winn-Dixie! Hell yeah! =D I now work at the Walgreens just across the street. >.<
Why would I want to quit a job so amazing as the one at WD? Well...
1. the pay sucked (who could live off of $7.18 an hour?)
2. not enough hours (yes, I had a social life, but no money)
3. crappy raise (I got 4/5 on my evaluation... should have been better than $6.75 to $7.18 )
4. the one manager is a b***h (seriously, I'm gonna rant about this for a good paragraph)
5. I had been there for way too long, watching those get paid almost as much as me just sit there. (D: crappy new employees)
About my manager:
1. she's about 23 or 24 and has yet to get her AA from a community college (stupid b***h)
2. she's a prep who can't get over herself (someone kill me now)
3. she started working at WD when she was about 16, and became a manager at 18 (the power went right to her head)
4. she's got this "perfect smile" (perfect meaning white teeth... as white as you could get... and unnatural looking. And she would flash this wide smile at me when she wanted me to smile more to the customers. I wouldn't smile until she left. Hey, I only smile when I'm honestly happy.)
5. she annoyed the heck outta me (telling me what to do when I know damn well how to do it)
6. she couldn't look me in the eye (seriously, I thought she might be scared of me... but that might have been because I saw right though her and wouldn't take any of her crap)
7. she thought I was disrespectful (come on! I get back from break and want to help the customers, that's why I walked away from her)
8. she watched me like a hawk (she knew I took a fourty minute break and questioned me about it after I punched in. My reply "I like food, I like eating". Then I tried to walk away to help the customers. Then she has the nerve to send me home early after making me take an early break.)
9. she tries to tell me how to do my job (seriously, I had been there for a long time with the new rules. I know how things are suppose to be done. Besides, she was the one that trained me. If anyone is to blame for me putting the customers first, it should be her!)
10. she was completely fake (no one can stay that happy for that long. I mean seriously... D: Then she would turn around and b***h at the employees)
11. she threw me evil glares (I can glare right back, and got the most satisfaction when I walked in yesterday in my Walgreens uniform and told her that she was the reason why I quit WD. Though it would have been more affective if I had told the district manager why I quit and given the reasons. *evil giggle* Oh, that would have been so sweet! She might have gotten fired if that happened. hehe!)
