Doubt, its always there in small traces. Questioning the supposed absolute power that is God. Everyone experiences it, it is only human nature. To question what happens after death. So many Religions that it starts to seem like a Popularity contest or a bunch of fan clubs. Looking into the origins of each the elder of the few being that of Judaism and druidism (worshipers of Gaia or mother earth). Not counting the religions of the past that have fallen. Most tend to believe in science, but how does one test the supernatural? the supposition that everything that happens now is a repeat of a past cycle still leaves the question of origin. Darwin sought this answer but remained unsure to his death leaving the world with his one guess outside of Biblical Creation. A guess that has been held onto for decades now. Why though is one mans guess considered a truth when the origin of that theory comes from a man who was himself unsure?
Going back to the many religions, they all seem to parallel in some way shape or form. If the devil had copied God in making some of these he is correct in being called the great Deceiver, giving a hard task to a feeble human mind to decipher which one is correct, or are all of them invalid. Another doubt with an answer so hard to find.
One man on youtube seeking to show the way attempts to Prove the Christian Gods existence through means of portraying the thought of infinity and also The promise of redemption through Christs sacrifice and peoples faith. Another mystery to the human mind there which can be contemplated. It is believed impossible for the virgin birth to have happened, and the resurrection. I have never understood why if you accept the omnipotent power of God but relaying it into a scientific atmosphere i suppose you could have a slight point. Yet again though, how does one measure and test the supernatural?
Yes i was raised a christian as a child, but that did not mean i never had questions, quite the opposite, where most children follow the routine i sought truth at the ages 5 through 7.
My questions of where do we go when we die. Back then i came to the deduction that if we died and there was nothing else, then there is no purpose for our existence. If i had no purpose why was i even born?
Now i've gone into deeper thought with the same guidelines, If we were created through an accident then what is the point of living and building? Our art and philosophy. Thought patterns, distinctions from animals. Why are humans so different. Evolution cannot explain it due to the fact that in order to have evolution you also have to fit in natural selection, darwin's theories were meant to go hand in hand. So with that would not natural selection rid the prior species that failed to evolve?
So many questions, and when there are no answers even after being sought, i recline from the idea deeming it false and move on.
My current questions in life always are questions of why.
though i'll spare that for another time...
