The time is now… or next year, anyways.
The Digimon fans of Gaia online wishes to bring together the biggest bunch of digimon dorkwaded cosplayers to a convention and knock out the cliché competition of Death Note/Naruto/Bleach. Are you ready??
So far, we have two options on conventions to go to. Any con ideas would be wonderful, as long as it’s during the summer, when most are off from school. I think since most of us on Gaia are from the east side of America, we attacked the following conventions--
- Otakon ‘09 (Baltimore, MD/ August 8th-10th)
- Animazement ‘09 (Durham, NC/ May 22nd-24th)
Currently questioned conventions include—
- Comic Con [[CA (San Francisco/ July 23rd-26th), or NY (NYC/ Feb 6th-8th) is the question]]
- **striving at Anime Expo (LA, CA/July 2nd-5th), since a lot love it**
- NY Anime Festival (NYC/Sept. 26th-28th)
What are you all willing to do? Reply to this and I’ll set up some form of a list to keep up with who is going, who is thinking about going, etc. etc. More info concerning the resulting convention will be posted anywhere I am online (excluding Runescape, of course), including—

EDIT:: I had an idea not too long ago…
Because there are so many fans of Digimon all over the US, should we pick different locations in the East, West, etc. and do those big conventions (depending on where you are) for the summer?
