⌠This era, in the city-country of Agon, year 1776 MT, is known in history and throughout the world as the greatest in Magical strength and endeavors. Magic was now taught in schools and special academies across the land, teach young mages to use their individual gifts for the better of the nation. Not everyone has this ability, some go without, But others, in this new age are displaying unrefined and raw powers that may even rival that of the Arch Mages, leaders and teachers of the city. The Arch Mages Have long been renowned for their power. Yes, the great city of Agon was big, peaceful, and strong. They hardly had need for there small army, used mostly for helping other smaller countries they were allied with. No one had ever thought to battle with them. none dared to break the peace over the land. Until now.

One country, once called Tarrik had been using people, capturing and forcing them to fight with their magic on the side of evil. Many people found they like the benefits of this counties army as well. Others were to adamant against their forced task that they had to be slaughtered or used as hostages. Even children if they have abilities. They took over most of Agon's surrounding countries, Now all dubbed under one ominous name, the dark lands. There rule is a horror and their goal is Argon. With them they have ultimate control over the whole world. darkness is spreading fast and Argon scrambles to recruit an army. every able man sent with arms and every able mage sent to the battle fields after training. Man, woman, and child alike. What was once thought to be everlasting peace has been shattered.

There now is an order from the council, All mages who refuse to join or side against the city will be taken down by the Arch mages or any one capable. Unrest and violence breaks out everywhere. children being trained to fight with their powers instead of using them for peaceful good. Battles erupt all over. Small revolts on both sides, easily put out like small fires by the Arch mages. Which role do you fill? Are you a "rogue" mage who sides with no one, and fights none, being hunted by highers like a traitor? An arch mage fulfilling the duties of the city without arguement and training younger to fight? A civilian, trying to go each day without getting caught in the battle? A soldier armed with sword or musket heading out to the battlefield hoping for your life? A loyal mage fighting for a cause they believe is just? Are you on the side of Agon, or are you with the yet unnamed opposition saying what they are after is just and right as well? Only you can answer these questions. Go forth and fight in The War Of Agon.⌡

×Alchemic×
The easiest to preform, --anyone can do it regardless of their magic type--- but almost impossibly hard to learn by any stadard. Simple Alchemy is everywhere, the manipulation of objects, and plants by equevalent exchange. Grass becomes bread and rock becomes statue. Easy. But the symbols and diagrams needed to premfrom are complex. Diagrams within diagrams and mor diagrams for the harder of alchemy. Even many Arch mages have difficulty unless they've devtoed their lives to it. Many have died trying to master it.

Archaic abilities are said to be the oldest, and most common of magic power. A godly power it controls mostly the elements. It is the masculine counter part to Devine powers. Powers over plants, darkness, ground and fire are among a few of the powers that you may get from this power. One of the easest to learn but by far the hardest to control. Only those ranking Arch mage usually can use their full mighty potential, although in less refined forms it is still dangerous.

×Devine×

Once said to be the power of angels themselves this power is all human. It is the ability of "light" or that spectrum of thinking. People with this power often find they can heal themself and others. when they are stronger they can influence others mood, make them slightly happier, more trusting and often more compliant. It is not usually found in those with darker hearts. Masters of this ability or those with huge amounts of this ability find they can change a heart, make comrades appear like nothing and sometimes bring back those who recently died though it is a rare, practiacally nonexistant trait. Although if they themselves die they cannot come back.

×Transformative×

Its Biological. the ability to manipulate and change what is living. One of the hardest to control. It allows you to change most times only minor things. Many people can do but to change their eye color or a little or their hieght. Others can change facial features or voice tones. Masters, or often someone close to that, can change entire bone structors even. Some few can even influence other's biological factors. become strong you could use your self to be a weapon. Blades of bone and nail. Flexability and speed. Stronger muscles. All of this, yours.

(№2) If you don't post, you're kicked out. Profile is erased, name put on the blacklist. Same goes for rule breaking.
(№3)Post often, be friendly and helpful you'll be quickly put on the whitelist.
(№4)Follow the ToS, no cybering or anything "off" limits. You know what that means.
(№5)This is a fairly literate thread. I do not want semi-lit or one liners. A few paragraphs will be awesome. The longer the better. Ligerates get on the whitelist as well as a guild invite that they may join or decline at their whim.
(№6)Spelling, punctuation, and grammar are a must! Make too many mistakes (i'm no Nazi but I ) and you'll get kicked. This basically means others should be able to understand your posts. Use "" for speech, italics for thought and no ** for actions.
(№7)Write in third person. She, he, they and him. No I or Me.
(№8 )Title your PM "Arch Mage"
(№9) Boys can role play girls, vice versa.
(№10)Have fun and if you've read the rules, not skimmed, put a heart into your profile because I love you. I know this is long.
(№11)You may have as many characters as you want so long as you PM me and prove/convince that you can handle them all. Two is the max for anyone else.
(№12)I am a reasonable, nice, helpful person. Just ask if you don't understand something or need help. I will do it gladly.
13. Love is allowed and encouraged. So is violence, with limits on both.
(№14)Auto hitting is only allowed with minor attacks. Everything else, allow the victim/opponent to get hit on their own accord.(you can't dodge everything. You can avoid the worst though is its really bad. If you avoid damage to unreasonably or continue after a warning you'll be kicked and blacklisted.)
(№15)No killing other characters unless:
- It is your character being killed by your other character.
- You pm me AND the person you want to kill.
- I give say. If someone leaves or is banned from this thread I'll give the OK.
(№16)If you leave for a long time I reserve the right to take control of your character. Not permanently, or even kill them, just to get them out of the way until they can rejoin the plot.
(№17)If someone has not posted for DAYS, pm me and I'll "autopilot" them to an out of the way and out of the plot area so you can move. Often I will not notice when somebody doesn't post. Don't expect me to.
