Chapter 12

It finnaly came! The day I was released from the hospital finnaly came. The doctor came that morning to remove my cast. After that Shade and Ray came in bringing my package. The night before I told them to tell the coven to wait for me outside and for Shade and Ray to bring me this package.

It contained my clothes. New ones. My old ones got tore up after I was hit. I still can't beleive I lived through that. Turns out the spot that I was hit absorbed most of the impact and didn't kill me. Still hurt! Also in the bag were my blades. I strapped them on while I looked up.

I put my phone in my pocket and nodded to Shade and Ray. They had their blades on too. I opened the window fully enjoying the fresh air. "Hey guys" I said to everyone on the ground.

"Phase!"

"Hey Phase"

"What are you doing?"

"You'll see" I said grinning. I backed up then jumped out the window.

"What the hell!" they all shouted together. Well everyone except for Flare. She doesn't swear. I laughed as Ray and Shade flew out with me. Crazy part was we were on the third floor. We flew through the air and landed a good twenty feet past them.

"Come on!" I said over my shouldar.

They laughed as they raced after us. Tonight we were partying to celebrate my recovery. Well that and for the sake of partying. What can I say we're fun like that. At least the sun was shining and we were free again. Alabasta Corp. will have to wait a little bit.

We partied the whole night away and woke up feeling like crap. At least it was fun. The sad part was that Yumi had to leave today. She had a plane to catch back to Arizona. We wished she could stay but she couldn't leave her brother with her friend for too long.

"We're gonna miss you Yumi" Flare said. Yumi was like a big sister to her. Echo was too but Echo was a sister mixed with a mom.

"Bye Yu-chan" I said. She blushed smiling at me. They called for her plane ticket and she looked from the plane to us.

"I guess this is where I leave" she said softly. Before she left I grabbed her shouldar and kissed her on the lips. I knew I was shooting myself in the foot for doing this in front of the crew but you know what it didn't matter.

They called for final departure snapping us out of our kiss. She was stunned for a second before nodding to me and left for her plane. I braced myself and turned around. Instead of instant outburst I saw controlled outburst.

Shade had a big s**t eating grin. Ray was snickering. Flare and Echo were laughing. Even Rogue my second in comand was laughing behind his mask of indiffrence. Okay that was starting to piss me off.

"Shut up" I said walking away. By the time we got outside we could see the plane taking off and leaving.

I took a running start and jumped to start my blades off. I landed on a bench and jumped from there to the top of a house. I heard the others follow suit behind me. I nodded thinking about when to tell them about Darren's report. I mean I was still screwed in the head from it.

I nodded my head again. I'd tell them tommorrow tonight. That's if life was good.
