Gekkou woke up to an empty bed, she was wrapped tightly in a blanket and a small tray of food next to her. She looked around and couldn't see Axl anywhere around. She quickly got up and ran out the door almost bowling Axl over as he came through.
" whoa there girl," said Axl smiling, " wheres the fire."
" AXL !" Gekkou jumped onto Axl wrapping her arms and legs around him hugging tightly.
Axl wrapped his arms tightly around Gekkou, " Whoa there Gekkou."
She hugged him tightly then instantly went from loving to nurse.
"WHAT ARE U DOING OUT OFF BED!!!!!" she yelled fiercely .
Axl's eyes widened,"well i uh decided to uh get food and stuff."
"You should not be moving around i don't know the extent of your wounds yet," she pointed at the bed," now !"
Axl dragged himself to the bed and sat on the edge as Gekkou examined his wounds.
" You're seal is taking care of your wounds, as expected," she said with absolute authority.
" so i ca-" Axl started.
" No!" Axl then zipped his lips till she was done examining him.
"okay i think you're safe to move around" she said getting up from her chair.
They both walked out into the empty village,"I sure hope Fenix got them far enough away from here," said Axl.
" I'm sure he marched them far away Axl," Gekkou replied
They started to walk in the direction the villagers and Fenix left in. They walked sharing life stories and jokes to pass the time. They walked along a cliffside to stay out of the heat of the desert they were passing through when the sun began to fall behind the dunes.
"Doesnt it get cold at night here Axl?"
"Yeah, ive heard rumors it sometimes even snows at night."
Axl began pulling things out of a bag he had been carrying when something caught his attention. It wasnt a movement, or a light, or anything like that, but it was a sound. A soft sound like a song floated through the air. This song, as soft and quite as it was, sounded of death to Axl he quickly drew his sword and searched for the source which he found quickly. Atop a rock, next to the cliffside, sat a woman with long silver hair and bright blue eyes. she wore a whit dress that showed as much skin as she possibly could.
"Hello boy," she said in a sweet almost loving voice, " and girl" it seemed she said this with a more flat and almost annoyed voice, " I am the Temptress."
