Chapter 3:
Old Friends And Sad Memories

As I was finishing screeching out the last words all the moments that were bad in my life came back to me. I started crying. Then the most painful ones hit me and then I stopped crying. Because there was a good memory that came to me. The memory was of my cat mittens. I always thought that he was able to talk. This memory was what I thought he said once. “one bad thing can turn into a good thing. always remember that Lin.” then I finally had the power to get up. I stood even though I felt that I could cry in that corner for the rest of my life. I started to shift very slowly towards the door on this side of the school. Then I saw the reflection of mittens in the windows for a second then gone the next. I hear the faint sweet meow he would make only for me.
I started crying again but not because I was sad because I was happy.
Then I noticed that someone was staring at me. I wiped my tears and looked around. And then I spotted them. They ran for while they could. I ran after them until I was within inches of them I noticed it was my friend Setsune . I have known her since kindergarten but she moved to Begeta and I never saw her again. And I have known her way before I knew. “Stop Setsune.”
she came to a stop as she heard my voice she turned around and hugged me. “Lin it’s been so long since I have seen you.” as tears as happy as if we just met a second ago. I hugged her back the best I could. She let go and explained that she moved to Begeta because her dad moved because he lost his job and was applying for a new one in Betgeta. I nodded my head as she finished.
“So what was it like having a new home Setsune?” as I asked with admiration on my eyes. “I was lonely because you and Yuishi weren’t there.” She looked puzzled as she remembered. “And why were you crying?” I paused and answered .“ You wouldn’t believe the situation” Then she stared like she would when she wanted to know something. “And where is Yuishi?” she gave me that questionable look again and I told her. “I don’t know.” then she looked a little bit less questionable. Then I heard the school bell ring. Class was starting for second period . “Are you coming Setsune.” as I was running toward the door of the school. After second she followed with a smile on her face.
