"Oh did i hurt you inside or something outcast!" Dusk tried to break free from his binds but was making no progress.
Axl stood there silent and still as a statue, He raised a hand and shattered the ice Dusk was trapped by.
Dusk took this oppurtunity to lunge at Axl with both his swords, but Axl was already at him and slammed an elbow into Dusk's Chest sending him sailing deep into the Canyon wall.
Dusk flew out of the canyon wall and slashed at Axl, but Axl effortlessly stepped aside spun around once to gain momentum and slammed his fist into Dusk's abdomen. This caused all of the shards of Axl's sword to fly through Dusk's body peircing it many times.
Dusk fell limp and began to descend to the canyon floor.
" Stay in hell demon!"
Axl clasped his hands together and delivered a final hammering blow to Dusk's back sending him meteoring to the canyon floor.
Axl stood there for a min or two until his hair and eyes reverted back to their usual colors.
Gekkou was standing in the mouth of the cave when he returned,"w-w-what was that?"
"That....is my last ditch effort to win....or when i reallllly want someone dead."
Axl began to walk back into the cave.
"does.....does people calling me a hoar bother you that much?"
Axl stopped,".....yes....it causes you to cry, and your tears, tears of someone as strong and proud as you, are like daggers in my chest."
Axl returned to his bed and fell asleep fast.
Gekkou stood in the moons light in the entrance of the cave for a few minutes and thought on what he had said. She smiled and took her bed and set it next to Axl's, she felt safer there, near him. The morning came quickly and with it a very chilling breeze, Gekkou woke up to find herself covered by two blankets, one was Axl's but Axl was no where in sight. She bundled up and waited for him to come back from wherever he was, and sure enough in a few mins Axl came back and began to pack.
" i know its cold," He smiled," but we need to move if we want to reach town by tonight."
Axl packed up all their things in their bags and threw them over his shoulder.
"cmon you can stay bundled up."
With that they left the cave and traveled down the canyon walls. The cold of the morning never left as they traveled and the blankets were barely enough to keep Gekkou warm.
"h-h-h-how are you n-n-n-n-not cold?"
Axl smiled," I am but im used to being cold so its not as bad on me as it is on you."
"w-w-w-w-well then t-t-t-take at least o-o-o-one of these," Gekkou began to strip off a blanket, but Axl wrapped his arms around her.
"hehehehe no you need it more then me, keep em on."
They continued to walk till they had left the canyon and were now on a grassy flatland where the sun was beating strong and the temperature was much better than the canyon. Axl and Gekkou packed up the blankets when they saw an explosion off in the distance.
"Axl, what was that."
" Lets find out,"
They took off running to the point of the explosion to find a pair of people, a man and a woman, were trying to fight of a pack of demons.
"Crons...." Axl whispered
"Cron..whats that."
"A very dangerous demon, fast and powerful they look identical to salins, but theres a spine of spikes down their back."
Axl stood up and began to move towards them Gekkou in tow.
"Carful Gekkou this wont be like fighting Salins."
