Raining Rage
By Dominick Cortes
Doors bursts down,
Running where ever I can run
Before I commit a sin once more.
My body and mind are red
My lungs tight with fire
And my fists itching to break
I roar to release this river
Only to find a ocean inside me.
This has to stop
The rain falls gently on me
I cry louder than ever
Summoning a mist of raindrops downward
My mind stings sharply
My body abused
And finally my blood soaked finger
Find relief.
Slowly, gently
Inhale the Nature
Afraid if too fast it might spark me.
You have to stop this
Ringing silently in my mind
Afraid if too loud it would awaken
That deep rage
I have to stop this.
