After what felt like one of the shortest school years ever! School is out in Alabama and so it has been for the last week!

For the first time I can ever recall tomorrow I am staying up till at least 2:00 in the morning to see the midnight showing of X-Men 3: The Last Stand. Let's see if it lives up to X2! We'll probably end up going to another showing anyway because I wouldn't be surprised if my Mom falls asleep in the middle of it by accident. She did that during the first Harry Potter movie so it wouldn't be the first time she did that. Anyway so I am really excited about that.

Speaking of movies, I seem to be seeing a lot of them lately. I went to see two different movies last weekend. Akeelah and the Bee and the Da Vinci Code. The first of which which I actually enjoyed despite my reluctace at wanting to attend it at first. Then I am going to go see Over the Hedge tomorrow before I go see X3. I like cartoon movies so I am actually looking forward to seeing Over the Hedge.

On another note I seem to be watching a lot of crime shows lately despite my love for anime and almost anything fictional. Along with the fact I am a huge fan of sci-fi and the supernatural. I am offficially a fan of the CSI shows. I love all three of them to a very great extent. I also have taken to reading the books based off of their respected series.

Speaking of sci-fi I watched 10.5 Apocalypse over the last few days. I don't know if they are planning to make more but I want more. Kim Delany (?) is such an awesome actor and I see why some of the CSI Miami fans want her and her character back on the show. Despite the fact that the character left during Season 1 and they just wrapped up Season 4. Anyway it really was a good movie despited the fact they had so many things that are geographically impossible but hey it is a sci-fi movie so I should probably just keep quiet. I am planning to buy the first part of the series (10.5) so I will have seen the entire thing, but let me tell you trying to track down a copy is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Some guy over at the local FYE saw the movie and wanted a copy of the first one so he ordered some copies that are supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I will go pick it up then and then watch it.

Wow we just had a double power surge. There is something that you usually don't see everyday. For some reason my computer wasn't affected good thing too because I would have lost this entry if it had shut down. Don't know why it wasn't affected though, everything else was including my tv and headphones for the t.v.
