~~~Episode Thirty-Two~~~
*Note - Yes, I know this is early. But I didn't really post an episode last Friday...so here it is. biggrin Oh, also, I'm going to be writing my story in a different format from now on.
An explosion shook the ship, and Haku quickly jolted from his sleep. He gave a small yelp as he fell back off the front of the ship, only to land on something – hard.
Wheeljack winced slightly as he felt Haku fall onto his head. The boy grabbed onto the ‘fins’ that lined his helm, and he glanced up.
“You ok Haku?”
He asked, his blue optics lighting up. Haku nodded, rubbing his arm.
“Yeah, just peachy…what the hell happened?”
“Don’t know. Hang on, I’m standing up.”
Haku gripped onto one of the metal ‘fins’ as the mechanic stood. The ship shook again, but Wheeljack wasn’t bothered by it.
“Bumblebee, Ratchet – what’s going on out there?”
Wheeljack asked as he activated his comlink.
((Decepticons! It’s the Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker! They’re firing at us and trying to board!))
Bumblebee’s voice came across the link, which Wheeljack had on speaker to allow Haku to listen.
“I’m already sending the message to Optimus! I’ll activate the defenses – keep the humans safe!”
Wheeljack turned quickly, rushing out of the room. Haku slipped down, falling into a sitting position on the white bot’s shoulder.
“Decepticons?”
He questioned. The name was familiar, but he asked anyway.
“The bad guys.”
Wheeljack said simply before stepping into a dark room. The room was only lit by the control panels – buttons and screens flashing in every color imaginable with soft sounds emitting from the tech.
Wheeljack brought his hand up, Haku nervously stepping into it and letting the mechanic put him down onto the surface of the panel. Wheeljack began to press several buttons, typing out commands on a keyboard that slid up from the front of the panel. Haku watched, then glanced at the screens.
“Wheeljack, what do those guys look like the yellow guy was talking about?”
Wheeljack didn’t look up as he continued charging up the defenses.
“They all look the same sort of – just different colors. Ones red, one bluish, and the others purple. Kind of tall, and they all have wings on their backs.”
Haku narrowed his eyes at one of the screens.
“Well, he doesn’t match that description.”
Wheeljack turned his attention to the screen Haku pointed too, and glared.
“Soundwave!”
He said. The Decepticon turned his red visor to the camera, then the screen flickered and showed only static.
“Slag! Why are they here on the ship?!”
Wheeljack thought aloud. He apparently finished what he was doing, for he again brought his hand down in front of Haku. Once Haku was safely in his palm, he brought his hand up to his shoulder and allowed the blonde to climb back up.
“Right, hang on and stay low. I don’t know why these guys are here, but you’ll be safe with me.”

Yuri covered her mouth, muffling a shout as the ship rumbled again. She shivered a little, glancing out from her hiding place to see Ratchet standing in the medbay – his gun aimed towards the doors. He glanced back at her,
“Yuri, stay hidden. No matter what happens – stay there.”
He whispered. Yuri nodded, pulling herself back under the panel and being careful to avoid the wires that dangled over her head. There was a loud slam of metal against metal – and then shots were fired. She heard Ratchet yell something, but it hurt her ears and she couldn’t understand it at all.
But the shouts of another voice rang out, and more shots echoed in the medbay. Yuri covered her ears, closing her eyes as she waited nervously.
Shouting, a strange metallic yowl – and then silence. It sent a shiver down her spine, and she slowly opened her eyes. It was quiet except for her own breathing and sometimes the faint sound of gunfire from another part of the ship…and she resisted the urge to crawl out and see if Ratchet was alright.
There was a flash of black, and Yuri screamed as a metal cat leapt in through the wires, hissing angrily at her. She fell back, the red optics of the creature narrowing before it came at her.
“Firaga!”
With a shriek of surprise, the black machine was blasted out of the panel and sent skidding across the medbay floor. Rumble stepped back, then laughed.
“Got you can handed to ‘ya by a human?!”
He mocked as Ravage stood, shaking herself. She yowled, her shell still glowering faintly from the fire attack. Rumble turned, cracking his knuckles in his hand.
“Fine, I’ll get tha’ rat outta there.”
He said confidently.

Bumblebee fired, hitting Thundercracker in the shoulder. The seeker stumbled back, his gun firing back at the yellow bot.
Bumblebee quickly ducked back behind the metal crates, glancing at Spike and Zeph.
“Just relax alright? Optimus and the others should be back soon.”
Bumblebee said, trying to comfort the two humans. Zeph nodded slightly, not as sure as Sam that this would turn out well. He was worried about Yuri and Haku.
A shot slammed into Bumblebee’s chest, and he gave a strange shout of pain.
“Bumblebee!”
Spike yelled as the Autobot fell back against the wall, holding his chest. More shots were fired, and Bumblebee laid down on the ground, his chest sparking.
“Slag…that hurt…”
He mumbled as he struggled to sit up. Spike put his hands out,
“Bee, stay down! If you get shot again – “
“Not if - when he gets shot again, I’ll make sure it goes right through his spark.”
Spike and Zeph whipped around to see Skywarp standing right beside them, his weapon aimed down at them and a nasty smile spreading across his face.

I really like that Haku and Wheeljack are 'buddies'.
