Rael and Company step through their portal to be faced with an unfamiliar face. Rayne screams as she realizes that this may get terribly ugly

"Rael. Child of the Advent?"

"What the ******** do you want?"

"You have been bringing chaos to several worlds. Me and the rest like me have been charged with protecting the balance of the worlds. You are upsetting that balance and must be dealt with."

"Rayne, take the others and run for the top of the ruins and try to open the portal. I will deal with this clown. So who exactly are you, and what gives you the right to have me 'Dealt with'?


"I? I am Xeiln Fireheart leader of the Organization of the Arcane Heart. I have the right to deal with you because it is my DUTY. IN bringing chaos to the worlds, you are bringing pain and Darkness to Kingdom Hearts. As its protector, I can not allow this."
Ben Cheshire: Says Xeiln, and his hands burst into flames. The flames expand and meld into each other to form an ornate guitar

A small chuckle escapes my lips as the Deathbringer appears in my right hand. And I stare curiously at Xeiln. "So if you are truly a guardian, how can you destroy someone who is trying to bring glory back to his people? How can you possibly think to stop someone who has existed for over 1000 years? Oh well it is your funeral, I hope that someone there will cry over your lifeless body." As soon as I finished my statement a powerful Scathe escapes my hand and flashes as it makes contact.

The Scathe spell dissipates and Rael looks with shock upon his face as Xeiln stands undamaged, playing a melody on his guitar. A warm air seemed to surround Xeiln, flowing and jumping with the noted played on the guitar. Xeiln looks up at Rael, "Is that the best you can do? I expected more from someone who is over 1000 years old." With a flash of flames Xeiln disappears and reappears behind Rael, striking him from the side with his guitar aflame.

I vanished before the blade could make contact, and reappeared where Xeiln had been standing only seconds beforehand. My sword pulsed with dark energies, begging to be released as the violet gem in the hilt began to flash. I unleashed a Scourge attack that melted the ground around Xeiln's feet. And I vanished into thin air.

The ground below Xeiln's feet was melted and decaying, but this didn’t affect him at all. Xeiln grabbed the sides of his guitar and pulled. The guitar seemed to melt and then reform as two, key-like blades. The blades reverberated with sound and flame as Xeiln adopted a smirk. "Let's see you face this." Xeiln plucked one of the guitars like string on the righthand keyblade and the world burst into flames. The very air itself seemed to be aflame. The flames spread for a mile around, filling the Great Maw to it's cliff edges. The flames caught Rael as he reappeared from thin air, burning and searing his skin.

"Foolish man, do you honestly think that flames can harm me anymore? I have faced the strongest of the strong." An energy pulsed through my pupils as I flew into the air and onto a higher level of the ruins and I felt a renewed energy flow through my body. I unleased a power that I had never used before, but my fighting instincts had taken over. The Deathbringer, felt alive in my fingers as chains of complete darkess shot out of the ground and whipped, one of the strange blades out of the hands of Xeiln. By that time Aleks had thrown the Mercury Star and I had caught it in my hands as it pulsed and released a hard rain to douse the flames of the mysterious man.

"Rain. Rain?! My flames cannot be doused by some weak rain. My flames are as strong as the sun itself, as strong as the fires in my heart, and they cannot be put out. My number V, Xehralc, has shown me stronger rains and torrential waters then that Elemental Star in your hand. Allow me to show you TRUE FLAMES!" Xeiln's already flamelike pupils burned like the sun and his body erupted into the stongest, hottest flames seen by anyone on any plane of existance. The heat rolling off of him caused the very ground beneath him to melt and flash as it turned to glass. Waves of the purest song flowed off of Xeiln and outward, making the very world of Radiant Garden reverberate with his tones. Reaching his hand out, the fallen Keyblade reappeared in his hand. "Now FEEL THIS!"

"BOLERO OF THE THIRTEEN HEARTS!!" Thirteen flaming symbols appeared around Rael, and the force generated by them lifted him into the air. Another such symbol appeared in front of Xeiln and he stepped through and disappeared. The symbols surrounding Rael burned bright as Xeiln came streaking out of one, slicing Rael and disappearing into another, only to reappear and slice again and again and again 13 times into Rael, slicing not only his flesh but into his very HEART, leaving burning gashes all over his body and a terrible aching pain greater than he had ever felt in his heart. Xeiln came to rest in front of Rael, holding his blades at it his sides.

As the flames licked at my body, I laughed at the man's attempt to destroy me. "Hardly a strong blow. I daresay that small children can perform such parlor tricks in my homeland. May the darkness eat your soul Xeiln Fireheart!" During the onslaught the Deathbringer had shattered, leaving only the orb in my hand shining brighter than ever before, bathing both men in the violet light. Darkness protruded from Rael's heart as a wave of arcana, escaped from the heart of the arcane guardian. The flames were immediately smothered, and my wounds were healed. The sun was blotted out and the land fell into darkness like none had ever seen. The only light emanated from the orb and from Xeiln's weapons. Soon flashes of light streaked from the orb and hit squarely on Xeiln's chest, and sent him soaring through the air and slamming into the wall.

For once, the wind had been knocked out of Xeiln. He rose up off of the ground, blades and body alight, to stare at the man who was giving him a great challenge. "I must say," said Xeiln, as his flames cooled and he re-fused his blades into his guitar, "That you are quite strong Rael. I would be honored to have such a strong Child of Change as part of my group. If you ever find yourself without hope and in need of a purpose, do contact me. You will know how when the time comes. But until then..." Xeiln began playing a song on his guitar. The song materialized as flaming measures which flew at Rael and entered his body, wrapping around his Heart and fusing with it. Xeiln then replaced his hood, and disappeared in a flash of flames, leaving Rael with a feeling in his Heart that he had never felt before.
