Choji: “Cook me whatever you want! You have until 5 tonight. Everyone meet us back here then.”
Everyone begins to turn and leave. Sakura and Ino both run home.
Sakura: “MOM!!! I NEED A BIT OF HELP!!!”
Ino: “Hey mom!? I just entered this really cool competition with my friends, and the first part is cooking. Could you help me?”
Vanessa and Hinata still stand at the meeting place.
Hinata: “U-umm…”
Vanessa: “Good luck Hinata.” n_n
Hinata: “Y-yeah…”
Vanessa watches as Hinata leaves and runs to a nearby freshwater river.
Vanessa: Lets see…I have three hours to do this…don’t stress… *jumps into the river*
~Three Hours Later~
Choji: “Is everybody here!?”
Sakura: “I’m here!”
Ino: “Yeah, but I was here before you!”
Hinata: “N-no…That other girl isn’t here.”
Lee: “What was her name again?”
Tenten: “Oh! That’s right! We never asked!”
Choji: “I guess she backed out…”
Gaara: “Wait. She’ll come eventually.”
Temari: “It’s not exactly five right now.”
Shikamaru: “Yes. There is approximately two minutes and twenty-seven seconds left before five.
Kankuro: “…What?”
Naruto: “C’mon!! Hurry up girl! I want to eat!”
They wait. They hear someone yelling above them and all look up as Vanessa falls down to the ground.
Vanessa: “LOOK OUT BELOW!!!”
Screams are heard below and people scatter to escape being landed on. Vanessa gently glides and lands softly at an out-of-the-way area.
Kiba: “Jeez! Do you have to make such an entrance!?!”
Kakashi: “Hey! What’s going on around here?”
Sakura: “Kakashi-sensei!”
Sasuke: “Answer the question.”
Kakashi: Hey, I was supposed to say that… stare
Sakura: “SASUKE-KUN!!!!!!!”
Choji: “This is perfect! More judges! I hope that you ladies made more than enough!”
Ino: “Jeez Choji. With your eating habits, who wouldn’t make more than enough…”
Choji: “Yeah yeah, whatever. Let’s just get started.”
Kakashi: “You should all introduce yourselves first.”
Naruto: “Okay! I’m Uzumaki Naruto everyone! And I -”
Sakura: “SHUT UP NARUTO!!! EVERYONE KNOWS WHO YOU ARE YOU ANNOYING BRAT!!! I’m Haruno Sakura! And I love Sasuke-kun!!! Ahhhhhh…..Sasuke-kun….AND I WILL WIN THIS COMPETION BECAUSE MY LOVE FOR SASUKE-KUN IS SRONGER THAN ANYTHING IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!
Ino: “I’m Yamanaka Ino! I just looove fashionable things and such. I’m so confident that I’ll win because I’m the prettiest one here!
Hinata: I-I’m Hyūga Hinata. I-I…umm…I won’t lose! I never give up!”
Naruto: “Hmmmm…hey, that sounds familiar!”
Vanessa: “My name is Vanessa. I don’t care about winning or losing.”
Kakashi: My name is Hatake Kakashi. I have no intentions of telling you my likes or dislikes.
Sasuke: My name is Uchiha Sasuke. There aren’t a lot of things that I like, and there are a lot of thing that I dislike. Oh, and I will kill my older brother.”
Sakura: heart
Choji: “I’m Akimichi Choji! I love eating because food is fuel for the body!”
Shikamaru: I’m Nara Shikamaru. You people are troublesome, and this is a drag…”
Kiba: “I am Inuzuka Kiba! And this here is Akamaru! Say hi Akamaru!”
Akamaru: “Arf!!”
Shino: “I’m Aburame Shino.”
Lee: “I’m Rock Lee! Yosh, youth!”
Neji: “I’m Hyūga Neji. You can’t escape your destiny.”
Tenten: “I’m Tenten! Throwing sharp tools is my specialty!?”
Temari: “I’m Temari of the Hidden in the Sand Village. This is Kankuro, my younger brother.
Kankuro: “Hey, I could’ve introduced me myself…”
Gaara: “I am Sabaku no Gaara”.
*This is not the murderous intent Gaara by the way.
Choji: “Okay well that everyone let’s eat!!!”
A table is dragged out and food is set on the table. The contestants go shop or do whatever in village as the judges sit and eat.
Tenten: “Hey! Look at this!”
Tenten picks up an edible decorated rice ball and takes a bite.
Tenten: “Wow! This is good!”
The judges look at the three remaining dishes. Two ramen bowls, one steak plate.
Shikamaru: -_- “Why so much ramen? This is a drag…”
Naruto: “I don’t care! I love ramen!”
Choji starts for the steak.
Choji: “It’s…well done.”
Naruto takes a bowl of ramen and digs into it. He stopped and spat it out.
Kiba: “Ack!!! Naruto! Don’t spit it all over us!”
Akamaru: “Rrrrufff! Rrrrufff!”
Naruto: “S-sorry! It’s just really bitter…”
Kiba: “Bitter? Which bowl did you take?”
Naruto: “Huh? I don’t remember.” sweatdrop
Shikamaru: “Great…how troublesome is that.”
Naruto: “Eh? Hey, hey! If it bothers you that much, I’ll eat that last bowl and judge it!”
Neji: “Sure. Go ahead.”
Naruto takes the last dish. It looked exactly like the other ramen dish. He slowly brought the ramen up to his mouth, and took a small bite.
Naruto: “AMAZING!”
Lee: “Uh, Naruto-kun. Is it really that good that you have to scream?”
Naruto: “Heck yes!”
Lee: “The other ramen bowl looked exactly the same, but had a different taste…”
Vanessa: “I’ll tell you why.”
Vanessa walked out of the shadows behind Kakashi.
Kakashi: “Hm? Aren’t you supposed to be in the village shopping or doing whatever you girls do?”
Vanessa: “I don’t like shopping and there’s nothing to do. Anyhow…That pink-haired girl -”
Naruto: “Oh! You mean Sakura-chan!”
Vanessa: “Yeah, whatever her name is. That pink-haired girl stole a special ingredient from me. Do you see that green leaf floating around in your bitter ramen, Naruto?”
Naruto: “Uhhh…yeah. Why?”
Vanessa: “Most likely she didn’t prepare it correctly. Now that other ramen that you tasted.”
Naruto: “You mean the better tasting one?”
Vanessa: “Yes. It is important that you wash the leaves three to five times to wash away the bitterness.”
Naruto: “T-three to five times!?!”
Vanessa: “Oh, look. The others are coming.”
Ino: “Yippee!! That was so much fun!”
Sakura: “Yeah, only because I looked better in that outfit!”
Ino: “What are you talking about girl! It was so totally not your color!”
Sakura: “It wasn’t your color!”
Hinata walks and stands next to Vanessa.
Choji: “What should we do tomorrow?”
Tenten: “They can do throwing practice!!!”
Choji: “Alright! You’re the host tomorrow Tenten!”
Tenten: “Right! Okay! Meet at the training grounds tomorrow morning at ten!”
