Kakashi: “Does my mask make me look mysterious?”
Vanessa: “Yes.”
Choji: “Do you love food?”
Vanessa: “Of course I love food! Food is the best!”
Shikamaru: “Want to play shogi with me?”
Vanessa: “…Sure?”
Naruto: “Will I become Hokage?”
Vanessa: “It depends.”
Sasuke: “I’m leaving.”
Vanessa: “Good for you.”
Sakura: “Wait! Sasuke-kun! I’m coming with you! Come on Naruto!”
She grabbed Naruto and dragged him away from the crowd.
Naruto: “Sakura-chan! Let me go! I still want to ask questions!
Sakura: “You can talk to me!”
Naruto: “Really!?”
Vanessa: “Yay. She’s gone.”
Ino: “Do you like my hair?”
Vanessa: “It’s long.”
Shino: “Do you like bugs?”
Vanessa: “No. Sorry.”
Kiba: “Do you like dogs and puppies?”
Vanessa: “Doggies and puppies are kawaii!!!” xd
Hinata: *whispers* “D-do you think that Naruto-kun will go out with me?” redface
Vanessa: “It depends.”
Neji: “Do you believe in destiny?”
Vanessa: “I detest destiny and fate.”
Neji: “It was destined for me to loath you.”
Tenten: “Do you like sharp pointy throw-able objects?”
Vanessa: *cough cough* “I can’t even throw straight…”
Tenten: “Oh, yeah. Sorry I kind of forgot.” sweatdrop
Temari: “Do you think I should get a new hair cut?”
Vanessa: “No.”
Kankuro: “Should I change my face paint design?”
Vanessa: “When the old one gets old.”
Gaara: “How did you fall off a building and disappear?”
Lee: “And why are you here?”
Vanessa: “It was a genjutsu. And I’m here on vacation.”
Tenten: “Vacation?”
Vanessa: “Yes.”
Ino: “Shoot! I just remembered that I have to help out at the flower shop today! Sorry, guys! Bye!”
Choji: “I have to go somewhere too! See you later then!”
Kakashi: “Why does your personality change so much in such short notice?”
HyperV: “It’s because she has three different personalities! One of them is loud, hyper, and haves lots of fun! Yet she can also be quiet and keep to them self.”
ShyV: “One of them is quiet and keeps to themselves, yet can also be loud and hyper.”
Vanessa: “And the other is one is just weird.”
Kankuro: “And you’re the weird one?”
Vanessa: “Sadly, yes.”
HyperV: “Of course she’s the weird one! Why do you think she’s the way she is?!”
Two Vanessa’s appeared beside Vanessa. One of them had red eyes and the other had yellow eyes. The one with red eyes spoke out.
ShyV: “I’m Toshi, the quiet yet hyper one.”
The one with yellow eyes spoke out next.
HyperV: “And I’m Kyoko! The hyper yet quiet one!”
Kiba: “Woah! Where did all these people come from!?”
Vanessa: “I’m not sure how they became this way, but when I was younger I didn’t have any friends because of my independency. I guess I could say that they were illusions that became real due to time and emotion.”
Tenten: “Tell us about your past!”
Vanessa: “…….”
Lee: “Well? Go on Vanessa-san, Kyoko-san, Toshi-san.”
Kyoko: “Okay!!”
Toshi: “Where should we start though Kyoko-chan?”
Kyoko: “Tell them from the beginning V-chan!”
Vanessa: “Why?”
Toshi: “They seem like good people.”
Kyoko: “Yeah!”
Vanessa: “They seem like good people, but are they really good?”
Lee: “Of course we are good people!”
Temari: “Yeah! Otherwise I might have already blown you away!”
Shikamaru: “That’s right.”
Gaara: “Now, tell us.”
Vanessa: “Hmmm….where should I start….Oh! I know! Follow me everyone.”
She led them deep into the forest.
Toshi: “Isn’t this nice Kyoko-chan? Finally being able to come out and get some air…”
Kyoko: “Of course it is Toshi-chan!”
Vanessa stopped and turned around to face everyone.
Vanessa: “I don’t think anyone will find us here…or see us.”
She took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a second.
Vanessa: “It started with the wings.” Gosh I hope this doesn’t take long…. “Okay…When I was born, I was very weak. The doctors injected a strange liquid mixture injected into me that was supposed to help me be stronger. For the next few years I got better and nothing weird happened. I wasn’t frail, and I wasn’t super strong. I was average. When I turned four, the wings grew out. I showed my parents and they yelled at me and told me not to show them to anyone. I went to the Academy when I was five, became independent, relied on no one, and had friends that eventually left me to rot. I was always alone so I would use genjutsu sometimes to conjure friends that I would never have. They came to be Toshi and Kyoko.”
“Sometimes at night I would fly around to test my wings and learn how to use them despite my parents’ harsh warnings. One night I was flying around with Emo-Bear when a fierce gust of wind blew me off course and to the Hidden Sand Village.
Kakashi: “Emo-Bear?”
Vanessa: “Yes. Emo-Bear. He’s a brown teddy bear that nii-san named for me because he said that it made me look emo…whatever that means… Anyways, I was walking around for about ten minutes when I heard someone screaming ahead. Curious, Emo-Bear and I went and took a look. There I saw a boy with red hair. He turned and looked at me with a sad expression. I stared blankly back at him. After staring at each other for a while -”
Gaara: “She disappeared with the wind and left her teddy bear behind. I -”
Temari: “Ah! So that’s where you got Teddy from!”
Toshi: “Do you still have it, Gaara-san?”
Gaara: “Yeah……but…….never mind, yes I still have it.”
Vanessa: “When I was eight I moved from the city to the countryside. I kept flying and soon mastered flying with my mismatched wings. My parents wanted me to become a medical ninja, even though I wanted to become something else. So I threw away my dreams and went to a medical school. And then stuff happened afterwards, and now here I am. I still have a few months of school left before I graduate.”
Shino: “You’re still in school?”
Vanessa: “We don’t graduate until the year we turn 13, no matter how good you are.”
Shikamaru: “Oh. Well, that’s lame.”
Vanessa: “Any more questions?”
Kakashi: “What are your likes, your dislikes, and your goals for the future?”
Vanessa: “I like eating, going to bed late and sleeping in, playing games, drawing, baking, eating sweets, looking at the stars, and art. I dislike people like Sakura, bright colors, popular people, people that reveal to much skin, preps, waking up early, working 24/7, cats, cleaning, babysitting, and a lot of people. As for goals for the future…I want to use that jutsu before I die, and when I retire from being a ninja, I want to pursue that career that my parents wouldn’t allow me to follow. Other than that, I want to live a stress-free life where I can fully enjoy myself and not have to worry every second of the day.”
Kyoko: “That’s basically us right there, except for the goals for the future and a few minor things!”
Temari: “Oh! I almost forgot my question! Can we see your wings!?”
Kyoko: “Of course you can!”
Toshi: “Here we go!”
Vanessa: “Hey, who gave you permission to spread your wings out? Oh well, I guess that since they already heard the story, it wouldn’t hurt…and if they betrayed us, I could always kill them.”
The group watched in amazement as the three stretched their wings out. Toshi had wings similar to the one on Vanessa’s right shoulder (demonic wings), while Kyoko had wings similar to the one on Vanessa’s left shoulder (angel wings).
Hinata: “W-why does Toshi-san and Kyoko-san have matching wings?”
Vanessa: “I’m not so sure myself.”
Shino: “How do they have wings when only you were injected?”
Vanessa: “I don’t know. Maybe it’s because we all share the same body?”
Kakashi: “It’s getting late. You should all go home.”
As the sun sets behind the trees, the group somehow makes their way out of the forest and back to the main road. Everyone bids each other good bye and leaves. Toshi and Kyoko have re-entered Vanessa’s body, and they walk back to their tree house.
Vanessa: Do you think we can trust them?
Toshi: Of course we can. All of the untrusting people had left the group, remember?
Kyoko: And if they betray us, we can always kill them. twisted
