Screaming. I hear screaming. It's loud. And annoying. Make it stop.
...
I Said STOP!!!
...
The screaming...came from me...but, why was I screaming?
s**t, there's a pain near my abdomen, god, it's ******** burning! What the hell!?!?
I try to open my eyes but there are lights, ******** bright lights, keeping me from doing so. Great, now I hear even more voices.
...
Push? Push what?
...
********! There's that pain again! To hell with pushing!!!
...
I can't take any more screaming, just please...make it all just...
Stop.

I awake to dimmer lights, thank god, and a crowded room. There are people in sterile suits and face masks. Jeez, did I get drunk again? I try to lift myself up, but I fell a firm hand on my shoulder. I look up and see a handsome mans face.
"You should rest, this took a lot out of you." The man said.
"Why was there so much screaming?" I see a smile grace his features.
"Well, you gave me a gift." I frown.
"What type of gift did I give you to cause me such a huge a** headache?" I hear him chuckle.
"A child." I freeze. 'A child'? Are you shitting me?
"I hate kids, and jokes, so this better not be one or else you'll be-" Something was shoved into my arms. It was squirming.
"Say hello to your son, Phoenix." I look down at the bundle in my arm.
"Phoenix."
"Yeah, you've always had a thing for that name." I look back up at the man.
"Cody, he may have came from me, but he's not my son. You were just a donor, and I was just supposed to be the carrier because your wife can't have a child, so don't go off saying how he's 'mine'." He shrugged. I felt a tug at my hair. I look down and see the black haired baby take a fistful of my hair and start to nibble on it with his toothless mouth. Cody started laughing.
"He's just like you." My attention was still on the kid. That's when I noticed the kid open his eyes. They were turquoise.
"And he has your eyes." I couldn't help but trace my fingers gently down his soft jaw line.
"Yeah, he is my son."
