Still no word from the Rapid Rehousing program, though they were supposed to let me know a week ago. I've called yesterday and today and left a message asking what's happening with my application, no response.

this week I am attending a workforce development workshop in Indio. Next week I'm supposed to start classes for Quickbooks and MS Office, but they are in Coachella, and I don't think I can afford to drive there every day. I've tried to see about getting in to the shelter in Indio, but they also don't return my calls. I really just can't afford to spend almost $11 a day to go to the classes, though I really need the training. My money is running out way faster than I expected - I've already spent $220 on gas, in only 3 weeks.

I'm tired and depressed, and sick of eating pork and beans, and ritz crackers and peanut butter.

I miss my kitties. crying

I saw a kitten the other night in the Costco parking lot. It ran away from me though. I wanted to catch it and take it to the shelter, where it would have a chance at a good life. Poor thing, it was too young to hunt for itself. And no doubt it will either starve or get run over. It didn't seem like a feral, I think it was dumped there.

People suck. Not all of them, but sometimes it seems like most of them. Anyone that would dump a poor defenseless animal like that doesn't deserve to live. It really upsets me.

Nothing else to say. Sorry, just not in an optimistic mood atm.
