Okay, I have some good news at last!
I got two weeks temp part time work at the shelter, covering for an employee who is injured (she wasn't injured here). I'll also have a few days at the end of July when she goes on vacation.
In addition, I was interviewed for a part time data entry job at the clinic. I start July 9, they said I would start as a volunteer, and then if I do well they will make it a real job. Part time and min wage, but hey it' rolleyes s a start!
ALSO! One of the other volunteers has invited me to stay in her spare room for a while to get out of the heat. I'm not real fond of being a house guest, but it is very hot here so I accepted the invite. She has a small laptop or notebook or whatever it is and I have the use of it, so maybe I'll be on more often for a bit. The keyboard is weird and the screen is small, but no time limit!
So, things seem to be looking up. Maybe I finally ran thru all my bad luck? Or maybe it's just fate setting me up for another kick in the butt. Stay tuned for developments! xd
In other news, I am on book three of the Game of Thrones series. It's very good. And I still wish at least one person would read Dream Park....

Woo! Hopefully you can get promoted to a minimum wage employee. Is there anything you have to do a lot of in particular?
Wow! Just a string of luck(or maybe it was just destined to happen xP) has hit you! I find it so nice that somebody invited you to stay and sleep at her house! It's even nicer that she lets you use some of her things! I'm glad you're not limited to a time limit and I hope that means you join in on dev meats and events even more!
A netbook computer feels weird to me as well. I can't stand using the keyboard on it since it's so hard to press the keys without my fingers overlapping xD. I even prefer a tablet touch-keyboard instead to that!
Things really has been amazing for you lately and I can only hope it stays that way or even better!(I can imagine you winning the lottery xD. Way too much luck there xP). Game of Thrones is an amazing trilogy! Had me reading for many hours through the night.
Unfortunately, I have recently found out that my Amazon Kindle app that's on my HP touchpad no longer downloads ebooks. Don't worry though, I'll find a way to read it!
