Bartender
So me and my dad have this unspoken rule, when he decides to go to the bar to drink either 1. he doesn't go over the limit or 2. he goes over the limit and sleeps it off in the truck, or 3. he goes over the limit and has someone drive him home or call me to come get him. Now the majority of the time he ends up getting wasted and calls me and though it annoys me a whole lot, i'm still thankful because he is stupid enough to try and drive which he has wrecked before and pthss there is a lot of info I could be getting into but i'll cut it short. Anyways so today I went riding and went and bought the tag for my bike and the car which wasn't cheap by the way pthss anyways, sometime between the time after I left, dad had left. So I rode into town and seen him at the bar, which honestly I was looking for him anyways since the cops are everywhere but that's beside the point so I stop and go in there and check on him, and he's obviously a little intoxicated but one of his friends was with him to drive. So I get a coke and set there for a little bit until they decide to leave too and after that he goes over there to his friends house and I go home. A few hours later he calls from a different bar and tells me to come get him and to bring his money so I sped up there thinking something was wrong because he told me to bring his money, and i'm not talking about a few twentys, i'm talking about a few hundreds.. Anyways so I get up there and go in and he's drunk as heck and he gets me to set down and I get another 1 dollar coke and set there. What did he need his money for? He wanted to buy everyone in there a beer... I was like wtf and that is for another story right there but anyways so the bartender, who is a younger woman, asks if she can get me something to drink and I said sure then she asked for my i.d and I just said I wanted a coke, that's how I got a drink. So dad is talking to her (the bartender) and he's telling her that i'm his baby, which he always does this when he's drunk and he ruffles my hair as well so she asks what I am to him and I say his daughter and she asks me name and I say Amy then she tells me her name is Danielle and that's it's nice to meet me and I says it's nice to meet her as well. Dad asks her how old she thinks I am and she asks me an I say 20 and then she says she thought about 18 which was a real compliment because that's the highest someone has gotten when they guess my age sighhhh, but anyways I said thanks and she said it was my eyes, that you could guess someone's age by their eyes and she was smiling and I was smiling and I didn't want to stare so I glanced away but yet I looked back and she was still looking at me so I glance away again and she was still looking at me so I rubbed the back of my neck and looked down. Yeah I am so socially awkward, but I mean I didn't know what to say but the moment ended and someone asked her for another beer and soon me and dad left though when dad was leaving he said something to this other woman and she said had a girlfriend and that she get's a little jealous, yeah I don't know what he had said but that was amusing. Anyways, it's 11 and in 60 minuets it will be the 4th so hope everyone has a great yet safe 4th of july and goodnight.
