Wanting more pay but not a child's need.
For the length they strike, who knows how long.
Though it does really hurt the students, the teachers are just to head strong.
So as we students wait and wait for something to settle.
Our knowledge is just sitting there like an empty kettle.
Nothing to learn and nothing to know.
Tests will be there and ready to give a blow.
As we wait and wait, creating less time.
Those state assessments are going to hurt our behind.
Kindergarteners wait so long to start they're first day.
And the seniors want to leave the school and not say hey.
As I've said before, no knowledge is being put through our brains.
That is why I have to finish this poem and say...
I gots none vocabulry to now a couple thingy ma bobbers.
