Christmas - all happy, jolly, and full of cheer,
But why is it different from last to this year?
Oh yes, a divorce that was told two days before Christmas,
That would explain why this is celebrated less.
A divorce between husband and wife of seventeen years,
What ever happened for this to bring tears?
So now it's my dad, sister, and me,
Or my mom, sister and me with a cup of cold tea.
We're split like a board,
I want to yell "Save us Lord!"
But, my answer won't be called as there is no hope,
No one can help, not even the Pope.
So now we celebrate apart,
Which just hurts my heart.
And what will Christmas bring me this year?
A few gifts here and there.
But let's not forget the sad despair.
