(This is my short story I wrote for my Language Arts class. I'm still editing so its not gonna be perfect. It's in four parts, so enjoy.)
[indent]Sophie was fairly quiet throughout the walk, only commenting here and there.
[indent]Sophie was a goo kid; pretty smart and athletic. She also had this daring side to her that I loved. She'd never deny a dare, no matter how stupid or dagerous it may be. It was like an addiction; something she couldn't live without.
[indent]She had that straight blonde hair, you know, the blonde that's platium but practically looks white. It was straight and reached a quarter of the way down her back. Her frosty aqua eyes were wide and wondering. people only read the sweet innocence that came through her smile, but most people missed the daring confidence that lies within her eyes. Most people couldn't meet her stare; I barely could. You just see something there and you loose all confidence. Her frame was long and slender and even the slightest bit bigger clothing would consume her.
[indent]I never really knew what exactly had attrached me and Anna to her. She had been the freshman, the fresh meat, and we had been the juniors, which had just been last school year. There had been something there and soon she sat with us at lunch every day. I can't remember exactly what I had decided, but apprently I never regreted the decision.
[indent]"Carla! We should ride the new roller coaster!" Anna excalimed, gripping my forearm.
[indent]"That'd be cool," I replied, shaking free of her grip. "I haven't rode it yet, have you?"
[indent]Anna shook her head. "No, but I want to." Her hazel eyes drifted to Sophie. "What about you?"
[indent]She simply nodded, looking as if she was trapped in her never ending thoughts.
[indent]When the fair entrance entered my vision, I felt happy to finally be there. And, of course, Zeke and Kamren were already there, waiting for our arrival.
[indent]"Where you been?" Zeke shouted across the endless yards between our two groups.
[indent]"No where and everywhere," I called back as we got closer.
[indent]There wasn't a reply until we were standing next to the two of them, then kamren decided to speak. "You wish, Carla," he said.
[indent]"Yes, yes I do," I said, smiling as sarcastically as I could.
[indent]Kamren just stuck his tongue out, obviously at me.
[indent]I laughed lightly as I paid the man running the gate. As I was waiting on everyone else, it occurred to me tht Zeke hadn't gave us one of his legendary dares. As soon as I though that, I knew I had jinxed us all.
[indent]"Hey guys! I got a dare," Zeke announced, walking backwards in front of us.
[indent]"What?" Sophie asked, unknowingly chewingon her bottom lip.
[indent]"Well, you guys wanna ride the new coaster, right?"
[indent]"Yeah," I replied, crossing my arms across my chest.
[indent]"Get onto the dare," Anna spat through her teeth.
[indent]"Well, I dare you, Sopie, and carla to ride it without seatbelts."
