Yesterday I went to the Volunteer Orientation for Animal Samaritans, a local shelter. I look forward next week to visiting with the kitties! Of course, there will also be more unpleasant volunteer chores, like cleaning, but cat cuddling is one of the listed jobs. xd I also hope to be a volunteer in the office, tho they say they don't have too much of that. Still, this will look a lot better on my resume than that I am doing nothing.
A couple of people have offered to actually send me money ( or jack cash ) to help me out. It's hard to accept help - harder than offering it actually, but my daughter pointed out how I would feel if I wanted to help someone and they wouldn't let me. So I've decided very gratefully to accept the offered assistance. It's sure more than the government agencies are doing for me... cry Hopefully someday I can repay that help, or at least pay it forward.
I won't mention their names unless they say it's okay - don't want to embarrass anyone.
there's no other news. I had a visit to the ER on Thursday, turned out to be a chest wall inflammation - not a heart attack, which I thought it was. All is well tho. smile
I sure do miss playing zomg!!!!!

oh i used to volunteer with kitties at a no kill animal shelter >w< aww cats are so fun >w< :O oh and it turned out that there was this white cat that was soo nice to me when i first started,and i gave her so much of my attention. I started high school and met one of my closest friends in tennis and i told her i volunteered at this little place and she was like OMG!! thats my cat Leeko!! XD what a small world.....she had to give her up because she couldnt have pets at her appt. and she missed her a lot so i brought her pics of her the next time i went. cat_whee
well anyway . hope you can come back to zomg soon!!!
